Services We Offer
Back Into Osteopathy offers a wide range of osteopathic services to help you work through and recover from injury, pain or restricted movement.
How can we help you?

Osteopathy
Osteopathy is therapeutic manual medicine that addresses entire body health through the treatment of the musculoskeletal system.

Pregnancy Care
Pre- and post-natal care can alleviate any pain and discomfort mothers might feel during and after their pregnancy.

Injury Rehabilitation
Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, workplace strain, or post-surgical procedure, our skilled osteopaths are here to support you on your rehabilitation and recovery journey.

Soft Tissue and Massage Techniques
Massage techniques can help relieve inflamed and tight tissues.

Myofascial Cupping and Dry Needling
Available as an adjunct therapy, cupping is thought to allow your body to ‘focus’ on relieving specific tissues. Dry needling is also available upon request and is thought to interrupt painful neuro-muscular reflex.

Strength and Conditioning
At Back Into Osteopathy, we create strength and conditioning programs that are individualised to each athlete and individual.

How long are consultations?
Osteopathy consults are 45 minutes in duration for both new patients and return patients with a new or complex complaint. 30 minute follow up appointments are also available for return patients presenting the same complaint.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
As a courtesy we require a minimum 24 hours notice for all cancellations otherwise a fee will be charged.
What should I expect as a new patient?
Before we make any adjustments, we’ll have a detailed discussion about your current discomfort and any previous medical history that’s relevant to your current complaint.
We’ll conduct an assessment to determine what your movement limitations and restrictions are and to learn more about your health and strength.
The osteopathic treatment is then carried out based on our findings from the assessment.
We’ll discuss the ‘working diagnosis’ of your injury – what’s wrong, why and how we can improve it.
Exercises or movements may be prescribed to help you get long-term results from home.
Do I need a booking or do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome between 9-5 on weekdays when The Community Doctor clinic is open and we will try to slot you in if an appointment time is available. To guarantee an appointment on your preferred date and time though, we recommend making a booking. Please note on weekends, outside of 9-5, and public holidays the clinic cannot accept walk-ins, so bookings are essential.
